Hi,
My fiance started a new job last week but it is classed as "Bank Staff" which means she only works when they need her.
For example she worked 30 hours last week and has none this week at all.
She could again have none next week. It just depends if they call her.
This is her first employment since leaving her old job shortly after maternity leave.
Does anyone know if she would be entitled to any social welfare payments for the time she doesn't work?
The job is a permanent position but with no guarenteed hours.
