just a query on suspened timber floors. I had an old semi-d with suspended timber floors with vents on the outside walls, which were important as when I did an extension a vent had to be mantained as the new extension had a concrete floor.
I have recently been in 2 house build in last 10-15 years where there is a suspended timber flloor (4 inches approx to concret underneath boards) but no ventilation whatsoever on outside walls to the floor area.
has the requirements changed at some point or is the ventilation optional?
