My friend is looking at a house in Cork which is a major renovation project. But the estate agent won't accept her offer untill she gets a survey report. Is this usual? Thanks in advance.Elainem.
The agent is probably trying to discourage timewasters. She can still make an offer subject to a survey, and let the agent lump it. He has a duty to forward all offers to the vendor.
