Huh!?? Surely you could write your own - basing it on a format you've seen and liked. I've never heard of 'CV writers'! How much can they embellish your actual skills & experience? Have many people used them??
I think its good to work on it yourself. Its a good skill to develop and a CV should target a specific job each time. Not try to be so general to work for every job. So thats why getting one done for you wont work in the long run.
Its should be short, easy to read, simple formatting, no tables. I spent a long time getting one that worked well for me.
Are you registered with a recruitment agency? They should help with advice on your cv, and should not charge. Whilst they will not actually write the cv they should be able to point you in the right direction.
