Student Grant 2010 Tax Query

I am not sure if this is in the right forum, sorry if it is not. Looking at daughter going to college in Sep 2010.Trying to see if eligible for student grant based upon income.Semi state income of 36,000 euro on P60 and 4,500 from social wellfare for me.Is the figure on the P60 the correct figure or for grants purpose is it based upon your gross income as oppossed to your taxable income , which would bring this figure up by a few more grand .Tks

Thanks for that papervalue, looking at the grant forms it makes reference to your P60 figure and superanuation figure,what ever that means ??

Superanuation is your pension deduction - they're probably trying to avoid people artificially lowering their taxable pay for one year with pension contributions.
