Hello experts.
I was a student and had little income in 2013.
I did invoice for €6,200 and I totalled receipts of €2k for the jobs, this leaves me with a Gross earning of €4200.
According to sole trader.ie, for a sole trader the following applies:
income less then €10k, no USC
income less then €5k no PRSI. Voluntary contribution €500.
If this is the case do I just file for zero?
What are the benefits of paying Voluntary contribution PRSI and should I pay it?
Smart advice appreciated, I don't want to pay an accountant this time for such a low income!
