Stone chipped windscreen

I have a small chip in my windscreen, and was told that this would fail the NCT.
It's not very big, it's on the passenger side and it hasn't spread. Any ideas?
 
Hi.
I put my car through the NCT and I had a tiny crack beneath the line of vision. it was the only thing the car failed on!!! I questioned the Examiner and he told me that there was a change in the NCT policy with regard to windscreens, the windscreen has to be without blemish of any kind. Otherwise its a fail!!! silly i feel if it is small and not in your line of vision
that my experience!!! if you have windscreen cover, get it changed. Otherwise you will have to bring the car back for a visual check.
