Sterling to Euro. Good time to move?

I have a sum of sterling in a current account in the UK.
Noting how good the exchange rate is at the moment - I'm wondering is now a good time to move/exchange it to euro or should I wait to see does the £1 increase to €1.5/6?
Do you envisage this happening?

I don't think we're allowed to speculate on currency shifts on AAM but I think, and I deal with a modest but steady amount of €/£ conversion, I would wait a few months yet.

Thanks a lot Slim.

I'd been wondering what to do and was getting greedy looking at the current good rates! So you say leave in UK for the time being?

Sorry Brendan feel free to close if the above is not permitted.

I don't think that speculating about currencies is banned?

It's a pretty useless activity and I suppose if it became widespread, we would review the Guidelines.

Surely ANY form of speculation is a pretty useless activity.

You take any position, if you are correct you win, if you are wrong you lose - if that sounds like gambling you'd be right.

The expected return from this is zero before costs (the amount by which the winner wins is equal to the amount the loser lost)

After costs the expected payoff is negative.
