yes, but this one can survive on surfaces for some time; long enough to infect someone. Since we don't know how long that is, we have to err on the side of caution.that a virus needs a host to live off

any modern day soap will do, and the water doesn't need to be hot, it's just nicer. Most of us don't wash our hands properly or long enough. Maybe now we'll learn better.hand washing with decent soap and hot water
People really need to heed the HSE advice, thorough washing of hands, observing sneezing etiquette and social distancing where possible. Three simple techniques that would go a long way to saving many lives and prevent people catching this illness.
