Hi I’m starting a school bus run job next week.
I will have stamp paid and tax deducted in the ordinary way .
That’s 39 week over the year .
My question ..
when I have no work , summer , July / august .. if I work for another bus company the odd few days , they will take tax etc in the usual way ... is the issue of paying a stamp a problem ?
I currently ( work civil service , retiring next week ) do odd few days and tax is deducted appropriately ... but I’m paying a stamp ... when I retire im wondering , will I have to have a stamp paid When doing the odd bit over say July / aug.
