L living Registered User Messages 16 10 Dec 2007 #1 Hi, Can you help me out please. Bought an investment property for €245,000. My stamp duty calculations on this were as follows: 245,000 - 13.5% VAT = 211,925 ==> Stamp Duty = 211,925 x 4% = €8,477 Since the budget, my new calculations are as follows: 245,000 - 13.5% VAT = 211,925 211,925 - 125,000 = 86,925 Stamp Duty = 86,925 x 7% = €6084.75 Does this look correct, or am I completely wrong? Thanks
