Have looked up the rates of stamp duty for 1992 but do you work your way through the limits and then add them together or just pick the limit the house falls into and just multiply.
Example
£52,000 house falls into the £50,001-£60,000 £5 per £100 bracket, so is it simply £2600.
Or by going up through the limits it's £1550.
