Stamp duty and new home over 125 sq meters

Hi all

I am trying to confirm that there is no Stamp payable on a new build home that is over 125 sq meters where the following apply:

Status: Buying as owner occupier
Floor area: >125 sq metres
25% of site plus house costs excl. VAT is less than 127k euro
Site cost excl: VAT is leas than 127k

My understanding is that we are stamp exempt, any thoughts?

You are indeed exempt; (caveat - the 127k figure is changing to 125k; There may be some transtional provisions - I have not yet studied this aspect in detail as I have not had a case on the margin)
