Staff asked to work after company liquidation

Hi folks
I worked for the past year a half for a fairly large electricial contractor who has gone into liqidation. Some of the staff have been told to continue on working for another week and finish the projects that we are on. As it stands I am owed a few weeks wages and some travel expenses. Am i making a foolish decision if i turn up at work next week (i.e. will i ever get paid for it)

The liquidator is now running the company. Ask him/her to confirm that you will be paid in full.
