My SSIA matured 12 months ago and i have continued my monthly payments. It is with Irish Life, 25% globalscope, 75% widomscope. Over the last few months its value has fallen 3000euro. I have little financial experience so hoping someone can advise me on what to do, stick with it, cash it in or some other suggestions would be appreciated, thank you

Hi Rupert, Turns out I'm in an identical predicament. My SSIA value (through EBS) has dropped from 25000 to 19300 in the past few months. Big hit.

I'm a believer in riding out the stockmarket dips so you should be fine long term. Remember that as you continue to contribute monthly contributions you are purchasing more units for your money.

In my case I'm buying a house though so I need to cash in soon. In retrospect I should have move the money to safer haven (RaboDirect for example) when I decided to buy a house. You live and learn. If I wasn't buying a house I'd definitely leave it sit and continue the contributions.
