Would be applicant is a 33 year old female (non native English speaker)- working here for past 6 years in a supervisor role in local factory. Previously completed a degree in science in her home country.
Employer is willing to let her go and register as 'unemployed' as he is downsizing and has already let workers off.
Is it worth going for this course? are there still opportunities in the area?
I think the job opportunities will vary greatly depending on what part of the country they live in. Dublin, Cork and Galway have big pharma and medical device sectors but not so much in the rest of the country. It does look like a good course and the fact that they have a science degree will be a big help.
