spreadbetting platforms?

hi,

just want to ask if anyone had any advice or stories regarding the different spreadtrading company platforms and also their charting resources. what platform is best and simplest? does the stock market information given by the companies negate the need to have your own feed from someone like sharescope?
any advice taken gratefully as i'm taking baby steps into this!!

hi again, just wanted to know also if any of you have used IG Index for spreadbetting? whats the situation with cross currency trading, are there any issues to be concerned about? tax etc.? because from a quick glance, there platform and software for charting seem very comprehensive and intuitive to use?
