Spouses Earnings and Unemployment Benefit

My husband was laid off from work last year and his stamps run out in October, at present I work four days a week so I presume that we will be means tested to see if he is entitled to anything, does anyone know the limit I am allowed earn in order for him to get any benefit. I don't what to spend ages form filling only to be told down the line that I earn to much and he is not entitled to anything. Also we have no children if that makes a difference.


Any info would be great.

Evedn if he does not qualify for a payment he should continue to "sign on" in order to get credited contributions to preserve his future entitlements.
