"Splitting" AVI files

I'm using Skydrive to store my files. One of the limitations is that the maximum file size that you can store for any one file is 50MB.

I took some movies of my kids over Christmas with my digital camera. They vary from 55 MB to 190 MB.

Is there any way that I can "split" each file into 50MB or less so I can store them on Skydrive?

google "join video files" and you will see lots of downloads to do the job you want

You can do it with Quicktime pro, not sure if the free version allows you to edit files though.

You can use VirtualDub. its a free tool. google the name..

By far the easiest and most user friendly is HJsplit, plus its free.
