I'm trying to source the following timber in white oak and have been given the following (all prices include VAT):
Door: 120 euros (22 doors required)
Door frame: 95.45 euros (22 frames required)
Architrave: 2.06 euros/foot (350 feet required)
Skirting: 3.27 euros/foot (850 feet required)
Has anyone come across a better quote.
Cheers
contact dublin door store they supply white oak products. I know the skirting is around €10 per metre, door sets including prehund door and precut architrave will over €300 per set.

I reason i ask is that if i went for the same materials in red deal they would be 6K cheaper....didn't realise white oak is so expensive in comparison with red deal

no that was the best, i looked at engineered oak doors but there oak colours didn't match with the skirting/frame/architrave or stairs so going with the solid doors
