Hi,
Two questions,
1.
I would greatly appreciate any insight as in to how I could source (Sofas) cancelled Orders, End of Line Stock, Sample Stock, Liquidation Stock and Ex-Showroom Display Models & Customer Returns from High Street Retailers directly?
DFS, NEXT, FURNITURE VILLAGE in Ireland or the UK.
Lets say buy 40 or 50 sofas at a time (Trailer Load )
I have researched the auction houses in the UK ( John Pye ) for example they are also based in NI but I would prefer if I could source Directly & Deliver them to me in the Republic of Ireland.

However some of the Auctions in the UK happen to have what I am looking for as well, most preferably sofas produced in the UK but importation seems strenuous along with the possibility of paying VAT twice. First on hammer price VAT to HMRC then VAT on import in the republic, just to note if you qualify for deferment of VAT scheme it appears you don't have to pay it immediately on day of import.
There also appears to be the possibility of Import Duties as well if you don't meet certain criteria for example if the product is sold from the UK but not produced in the UK.
Has anyone any idea or direction for either of my questions.
Or is there someone I should be enquiring with like a sourcing agent or Acc.
