Sources of national salary surveys?

I'm aware that there are industry-specific salary surveys carried out, e.g. finance sector, legal sector etc.

Does anyone know if there are national salary surveys carried out and if so where to find the results? (e.g. X% of the population earn <€50,000, Y% earn <€75,000 etc.)

Thanks.

Have you tried the Central Statistics Office? They have a fairly good website and should have the kind of thing you are looking for, either through the National Employment Survey (NES) or the Quarterly NAtional Household Survey (QNHS). If you can't find any of the material on the website give them a call and ask for the economic statistics department.

You could also look at the ESRI and failing that there should be EU wide statistics available on the web.

But start with the CSO.

Hope this helps.

Try the various professional bodies-or ask a member. The Leinster Socity of Chartered Accountants are carrying out a survey at the moment and are willing to give their members copies of the results.

I am pretty sure IBEC have some stuff that may be helpful. I have filled out these surveys (and they were very comprehensive) for IBEC in the past
