I've just done a complete format and reinstall of my Samsung laptop using the supplied XP Pro SP2 OEM disc. After booting up I'm having some problems.

In 'Network Connections' I can't see anything to do with the wireless card? I try to set-up a new connection but I just seem to be going around in circles.

Also, in 'Control Panels > Sounds and Audio Devices' it says "No Audio Device" and everything is grayed out. I can't adjust volume, however I know I have a sound card.

Everything just seems to be "switched off" or missing?

EDIT: Sorry folks, I actually found some extra CDs with the additional drivers I needed. Problem solved.

You need to install drivers for the cards.

If you know the makers, go to their websites and download new drivers.
Otherwise, go to the device manager (Control Panel > System > Hardware), find the network and sound cards in the list, right click and select update drivers.
