Getting a solid fuel stove and want to position it on a step or something similar to keep it off the floor - anyone got any ideas besides putting down a few blocks and tiling them?
Hi, we got a big thick piece of slate, laid it out in front of the cream wall like you want with the black flue curving out into it from the chimney, our stove is cream also, which is a nice contrast, you can use granite also.
