solid fuel fire - cost of switching over to gas

I am considering replacing my solid fuel heating system and switching over to gas, this is for a small 2 bedroom terrace house, any ideas what this would cost, ball park figure?

Is your open fire part of a backboiler central heating system or is it just an open fire with no central heating?
