Solicitors Fees For House Sale?

Hi,

Has anyone got any guidelines for how much a solicitor should cost for processing the sale of a house? It's a 3 bed semi-d in Dublin.

How much should I be putting aside for this - I presume there would be a fee & the some extra standards costs?

All help much appreciated. I am not looking for actual recommendations, I just don't want to pay over the odds.

A neighbour of mine was initially quoted 1% of the sale price+VAT and outlays.
Having done some shopping around he got away with paying 2500euro in total for a 3bed in Dublin.
