What is the qualifying criteria dateline for grants for installation of solar panels for houses built in recent years.
Friend of mine built their house in 2020/2021 but has only installed panels last week. Is she entitled to anything ?

You have to apply for the grant before putting the panels in. Also only for houses that were connected to the grid before 31st December 2020

While I think your friend may not be eligible, it's probably worth phoning the SEAI and having a chat with them about individual circumstances.
