Hi just wondering what your thoughts are on this one. I bought a good quality 2 seater sofa bed in May 2010 from a well known furniture store (cost - €750) and its very uncomfortable to sit on when you sit on it as a sofa it sinks down. Do I have a right to return it ??
You could have a read of http://www.consumerconnect.ie/eng/ and maybe give them a ring to familiarise yourself with your consumer rights in this regard.
Did you sit on that model of sofa in the showroom? Was that comfortable to sit on?
Then was the individual sofa you got uncomfortable to sit on from Day 1? In other words, did it deteriorate since you bought it, or could you have just gotten a one-off dud?
One last thought - did you assemble it yourself? Could it be an assembly issue?
Yes it seems to have deteriorated over time as it was comfortabe to sit on at first and its been used once as a bed and as its in the kids toyroom its not used (for sitting on) all that often.

Well someone from customer service called out and inspected the sofa, he said he couldnt see a problem with it as I have to expect that its not going to be comfortable a s a sofa as its has the mechanism underneath. I said I wasnt happy with this so their sending another guy out. What should I do?? It's really not comfortable and sags down into the mechanism.
Tell them if they don't do something you will take a half a day and devote yourself exclusively to posting bad reviews on the internet of their products and their after-sales service.
