Social Welfare payment query

Hi all,

Im going to be out the country in 2 weeks.My query is-Do i have to collect my welfare money on the correct day.Im sure i was told i have to collect my money on the designated day(in my case a wednesday).As i wont be in the country on that day can someone tell me what i do?

If you're signing for Jobseeker's, you should contact the local office where you sign on and apply for Holidays for 1 or 2 weeks (I'm assuming you're going away rather than just being out of the country for a day). The Dept will hold your money until you come back.
