I'm looking to take €1000 out of my limited company by means of gift card to take advantage of the tax free allowance.

It says I can do up to two gift cards totally €1000.

The company I'm looking at only does €250 gift cards. If I order 4 at a time will it really be an issue?
 
I think it’s two occurrences per year rather than a requirement that the voucher has to be for a single €1,000.

So 4 x €250 in an envelope at simultaneously is fine. One a quarter isn’t.
 
We use AllGo and they have no limit on the card amounts. They do Mastercards - highly recommended as they're not gift cards, can be used for aynthing
 
In a previous job they were very particular that it had to be one gift card for €500 and not 2x €250 delivered at the same time.

Would rather a store specific one (or a free Mastercard) to save on fees.

Looks like I need to be on payroll as a director too
