Small amt of shares in AIB and PTSB

My dad invested in both AIB and PTSB in the heady days, and when he died in 2011, the shares were divided amongst his 4 kids. The shares had been ravaged over the years and various consolidations and restructerings since then have rendered them basically valueless.

I've got 4 ordinary shares in AIB (worth about e2.40 if my calculations are correct) yielding a dividend this year of 30c and 2 PTSB shares (worth e1) giving a negligible dividend. I've not even been cashing the AIB dividend cheques as it's not worth the trip to the bank.

I have no interest in maintaining the accounts, so I've got 2 choices, sell them or give them away. I think the amount and value renders the first option a bit pointless. AIB sent me a letter about Share Gift (I assume because of the number of shares I own), and this looks like my best option. I guess I'm just here for some confirmation bias, but are there any other options to be entertained? Or ways to give away shares other than Share Gift?
