I have a two month old PC which was, up until this week, very fast at downloading pages on a 56K dial-up modem. It has recently become very slow but only on the internet not with Word, games etc. Any ideas?
Have you looked at the clean pc keypost at the top of the forum? I think it is very possible that you have some spyware. Apart from the slowness have you noticed any strange behaviour while you are on line (ie ending up in unexpected search sites, popups for gambling sites etc).
