Sliding door wardrobes

I have four bedrooms to kit out with wardrobes and want to get sliding door wardrobes.

The last thread on these types of wardrobes is over four years old so I thought I would start a new one.

I really like the sliderobes but they don’t have good pull-out drawers options. I don’t like cubbyholes.

Has anyone bought sliding wardrobes in Dublín recently.

I’m prepared to pay for good quality and longevity, over a cheaper options that may need replacing.

Not sure if it’s mentioned in the other thread but you could check out Robeplan as an alternative.

A few years since I used them so I can’t speak to their recent track record.

We have sliding door wardrobe in one of the bedrooms. It looks great but not very practical for two reasons - lack of full depth drawers and inability to open two sides together. Now it's matter of choice - practicality or looks

Make sure that the space you have is big enough for sliding doors. We have a slide robe in our sons bedroom that cost a fortune looks lovely but is useless in reality. The wardrobe only opens the width of one door max so if those doors are not of a decent size the opening is small and you spend your life sliding doors back and forth. Give me a wardrobe where the two doors open at the same time, anytime.

We also have a much larger slide robe in our own bedroom with me using one side and my other half using the other. While they look good and are space-saving, it’s still a pain having to slide the doors back and forth all the time so that we can get out stuff.
