Hi Folks,
I dropped my car in for a service yesterday and was gobsmacked to learn that it needed new wishbone bushes.
The roads in the area where I are on a main thoroughfare and in reasonably good condition.
The car has just come up to 50k miles.
Is this work not a bit premature?
Sounds excessive for a car of this year and mileage. I'd wait until NCT and see what they say. I just changed them on an Octavia 2005 with 135000 km and to be honest they were not bad at all when stripped. They do tend to show some movement and to an inexperienced eye they can think they are bust when in fact they are ok.
