Skip Company in Dublin - Recommendations Sought

Hi, I need to order a skip in the next few weeks. Having tried my best with Adverts etc to pass on and recycle I still have some unwanted bits of furniture and children's equipment to get rid of. Does anyone have any recommendations on skip companies operating in the Dublin area? Both in terms of price and service? Thanks
 
Depends where you are in Dublin.
I’ve used Panda, Thorntons and A1 in the past. (I think A1 might actually be owned by Panda, maybe not)

Prices are all similar enough. Never had an issue with collection or drop off from any of them.

Depends what size you need and how long you want it for.

Most places if there is high demand will only let you have skip for 3-5 days.

A skip bag is a good alternative. Buy it, fill it, ring when it’s ready for collection

Re the furniture try some of the local charity shops. They sometimes take it and even collect it
 
Some advice here dating back a few years, as above, I've found prices very similar across the board.

Yep and much neater, I have 3 being picked up on Friday, (1m3) , yes I had to cut a few bits like a door but that acted as a wall in one of them, dog kennel same process....
If you take your time its surprising the amount youd get in.

Cost = €13.99 each in Woodies and €231for the collection of all 3 . A bit more expensive but I'm happy as my driveway isn't damaged.
 
I've used Panda and Kollect with no issues. Not frequently.

Finding it hard to clear stuff and recycle it myself. No wants anything.
 
Yes I have offered perfectly good things for free on Adverts.ie, but no takers. The charity shops wont take toys and books sometimes. Crazy.
 
If the bits of furniture are wooden,you might get them collected quicker if advertise as firewood (with the cost of fuel these days).

We have used M50 skip hire with no complaints (apart from somebody putting bags of rubbish into it ).
 
Another option is to load up your car (if you have one) and go to your Council Recycling Centre I know Fingal CC have one at the Estuary Swords which just charge per car load for bulky waste.
