Skibbereen - where to buy?

Any advice from locals on where best to buy in Skibbereen - looking for a 3/4 bedroom house max price 355k - anybody know anything about Abhainn Beag on Baltimore Road - all advice welcome
 
No, no- I would not buy in Abhainn Beag. They are horrible houses despite the fact that they are located on the Ailesbury road of Skibbereen. 355K is a huge price for a house in Skibb. I suggest you start looking at the second hand market - if you find anything there - pm me and I will let you know if it is any good as I am local.
 
Thanks Art, having now received the full brochure on Abhainn Beag, I tend to agree with what you say. What about The Mills, it seems to be quite a large development? I have looked at the second hand market but not a lot of 2 storey houses available and stamp duty is also a turn off
