Ski Holiday - Borovets, Bulgaria

Hey, anyone been to Borovets on a package ski holiday? Wondering what the resort is like for total beginners to skiing and also intermediate's?
Have read the websites and looks like a nice place but would be great to get some info from someone who's been there, also comments on Apres Ski of course!

Snow is poor there at mo, it can good at times, but in general iffy snow record
food in hotels is poor

If you want good snow without breaking the bank Italy, inghams often have last minute deals and try aertel

I've been to Bulgaria and wouldnt go back
