Hi,
I'm having a hard time finding information to help me, so anything at all would be greatly appriciated. I am currently a full time studentin my final year and a single mother. I am living at home as I can't afford to rent as I don't qualify for the grant (moved home when I had my child), BTEA or any other grants. I am currently on the local housing list but have not heard anything in over ten months from them and my situation at home is not pleasant. I receive lone parents allowance but after creche fees and petrol for commuting I can barely afford nappies. Any advice on whether I would be able to apply for rent allowance if I moved out as I can't afford to without it?
