i'm soon to be a single mum and am wonder what benefits if any i'll be entilted to. I havn't worked in 4 years and i will be getting maintenance from my husband and i will be staying in the family home. Am i entitled to anything or is it still means tested based on the fact that my husband earns about 70k a year. Also he has been the main bread winner and paid for everything over the last 4 years, will he be expected to keep paying the mortgage and bills, pay maintence to
the kids and to me, or am i expected to pay half with no income? Would i be beeter of moving out with the 2 kids and renting? Regards and thanks LauraG
