When the sale completes, which is after both parties sign contract, exchange contract and purchaser pays deposit, after the exchange of necessary information and when purchaser pays the balance of purchase monies due in exchange for title documents such as will enable purchaser to be registered as new owner. This is normally several weeks after contracts are signed but much depends on the position of the parties. Its not unusual to sign contracts and complete a simple transaction in a very short space of time.
