Side gates (limerick)

Hi there,
can anyone steer me in the right direction of getting someone in Limerick city area,to make and fix a side gate for my house. Gate size 3ft (width) x 6ft (height). ANd how much should one pay for the lot?
 
I am also looking for a side gate for a normal semi D in Cork City. I got a quote for 850 euros for one with a steel frame. I think this price was over the top but as yet have not found anyone else to supply and fit one.

Way over the top. I got 2 wooden gates - a full height one x 3ft and an 8ft wide low gate with steel frames in both for €600 (In Waterford)

Check out your local hardware shops. They might have ads or something.
 
Aherlow Ironcraft on the Tipperary road (aka motor mile), I got a quote of them for automated gates €7000 fitted, the size of them i estimated at 12ft wide and 6ft high, he said he might be able to do it a bit better and they've been around for years, i'm sure he'll give you a good quote.

I got a phone quote here for PVC brown gate supplied and fitted again this is for the guts of a grand. Initially I expected it to be between 4-500 hundred max.

All I’m looking for is a side gate approx. 4 1/2 x 6 ft wide and I would referrer it fitted. Maybe I should call into some of the neighbors and ask them where they got theirs.
 
The most you should be paying is €200 for a 3'-4' wide, 6' high opening including fitting.

If you were in Galway, I have a number somewhere for a guy who used to do them for €190, painted or stained as well, great service.

I got a gate from these over two years ago. It is manuefactured from PVC however has a timber appearance. Very effective. The look of timber but the durability of PVC. Great finish and you don't have to put fence life on it every spring. As far as I remember they have a web site that may be worth a look.
