should toughened glass 'flex' in a new build

hi all
i got new windows installed in a self build, anyhow there are two bay windows to the front, now these are supposed to be the low e glass windows, and anyhow my issue is that i noticed recently that the main large pane(centre one) in one of the bay windows is flexing, as in if you just press it with a finger it bounces in and out, the other window in the room opposite is quite solid.

i mentioned to the window firm and they said its nomal for toughened glass to be flexing like that, is this a line? what does other say/ think.

not so much a problem for me,, but what happens if you did have to repalce a glass panel, and how is the gas filled in between them again?

Dunno about toughened glass but in general if DG breaks you would change the whole glazing unit which would be prefilled with gas if that's what you specify.

I have toughened glass and on very large panes the glass will flex. This is normal. Naturally a smaller pane won't flex as much given that the thickness of the 2 pieces that make up the DG unit are the same whether a large or small pane. I had some roof lights put in and you could literally see the glass bouncing up and down when it was being lowered in using suction cups.
