hi guys, i dont know my prsas from my avcs and am looking for some advice on pensions.
i'm 34, married and have two children. i earn 40k a year, this is probably the upper end to what i can earn and probably wont go up by much in future. i work in the private sector and have no pension provision. my employer does offer a scheme i can avail of, but they make no contributions.
i would be willing to invest in shares, but i wouldnt want a huge amount exposed to them (maybe 50 cash, 50 shares?).
any help on what i should do in really simple terms would be great.
