I have garage that was built on a raft foundation. It's currently not plastered and when it rains heavy with strong winds, water is getting in through the blockwork and going into garage along the floor.
At the moment I can't afford to plaster it and was thinking of applying Thomson's water sealer to stop the rain penetrating the block work. If I do this will it cause problems when I plaster the garage???
i would say that it would cause a big problem, most water sealers like thompsons are silicone based.have you got a quote lately for plastering prices are way down.
