Do you honestly believe that his senior staff completely ignored the existence of a section that comprises 1/6 of the total report? He was failed by his senior staffs....
You might be on to something there.unless he decided to ignore the sections of the report that he did not like, as it was going against the gvt plan.

In any case he's the Finance minister and furthermore he has the best brains at his beck and call surely should he find it too complicated.Do you honestly believe that his senior staff completely ignored the existence of a section that comprises 1/6 of the total report?

A year of Greek and Latin at UCD is considered more than adequate to be placed in charge of regulating the entire financial system. As for the report being too technical, isn't Lenihan a lawyer, well able to read technical and complex documents?
You'd imagine so, wouldn't you?In any case he's the Finance minister and furthermore he has the best brains at his beck and call surely should he find it too complicated.
