Any advice would be great

What make and model of router? Have you read the printed or online manual?

I want to set up WPA on my netgear wgr614 v6 - just wondering what key lifetime means and it's default is 60 minutes. When people drop in with laptops to my house and want to use my wireless broadband (currently unprotected) will they just need me to tell them the passphrase? Before I set this up I'd like to know what "key lifetime" means and should i leave it at 60 minutes or change it. After setting this I just dont want to have any problems getting internet on my p.c. or anybody else's that I want to use.
