The in-laws are looking at setting a stove into their existing fireplace for more efficient heating. Ideally they would like to maintain the current marble fire surround and granite hearth. They are prepared to go for a relatively small stove and understand that the fireplace liner etc may need to be altered. Does anybody know if this is feasible at all? and if so, what work is involved
