Hi, i have a preliminary interview coming up for senior staff officer in the council. Has anyone got any hints or tips. There are 40 people asked to the preliminary interview. Surely someone internally will be hired as opposed to an external candidate like me. Any thoughts?
 
Find out what the job description is and read up on its requirements. Certainly it may be that it's an insider's job" but they must give equal opportunity nto every candidaqte and they must be able to stand over their decisions (you could ask for feedback notes after the inteview results).
