Selling house estate agent query?

We are ready to sell our house, a three bed semi in a partly built estate.
We need to choose an estate agent to sell it.
Would you choose
A. The estate agent responsible for selling the partly built houses.
B The estate agent who has the only other house which was part of the first phase for sale.

C. A different agent altogether.

Would appreciate any opinions as we have to move asap on choosing the estate agent.

I would ask 3/4 EA's to come discuss with you how they woule market your house, what sale price, what there charges are, etc. Get a feel for each person and the different service they offer and then choose the one you feel is the best.

I would recommend Christina Wilson of Remax (I viewed a property that she was selling and I thought she was excellent and if I am ever selling my house I will prob. use her). She showed me an apartment that she was selling at 7.30pm on a Saturday, I was driving by the place and saw her number and rang her, she drove over and met me straight away! I would choose neither of the above and sell it yourself! The savings are huge and the process is very easy. See www.sellityourself.ie

Even better, get them at their own game. Bring the 3 of them in at the same time, lol. A bit like a viewing.

I phoned the mobile number for Christina given above.

Remax answered the phone just said 'wrong number' Christina's not here anymore. . . .surely if they were smart they would ask me can they help me in anyway . . .I'm actually selling my apartment and looking for an EA but I guess that didn't occur to them. They must have a lot of business!

Christina has her own EA now; she left Remax last year.
She also tends to sell for less that what is possible I believe...and quite expensive 1.25%
