I went into my solicitor on Thursday to sign Contracts for a house I am buying.
She showed me a land map of what I was buying and ask me if this was correct.
I said no as the seller had split the land (back garden) and built a house at the end of it.
The solicitor said she was not aware of this, as all the land was still registered to the house I am buying.
She said he did not register the split of the land, and that the original deeds said that the land could only be used for one family home.
Can someone please tell me How this is all this going to effect me????
